Job summary

UnCruise Adventures seeks a Solutions Engineer to modernize and support its IT ecosystem. You’ll revamp the Microsoft 365/SharePoint setup, manage access and governance, and drive cross-functional projects from onboard vessels to Seattle offices.

You will collaborate with Finance, Sales & Marketing, and IT leadership to define key metrics, build dashboards, and automate tasks using Power Platform and integrations. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Seattle.

Qualifications

BSc/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
Hands-on M365 administration experience, including Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft Defender security policies.
Experience with SharePoint architecture, governance, and permissions management.
Experience managing databases.
Salesforce Administrator credentials, or strong CRM administration experience.
Hands-on experience with integration and automation between systems, using REST APIs, Microsoft's Power Platform, Mulesoft, or similar toolkits.
Experience with SQL or similar query-based data manipulation a plus.
Knowledge of cloud-based tools and networks, with a preference for Azure and the Office 365 toolkit.
Basic understanding of network concepts; SD-WAN or Unifi ecosystem a plus.

Responsibilities

Overhaul Microsoft 365 environment, rebuild SharePoint architecture, file structure, and permissions governance.
Own user access management for SharePoint sites and Teams channels, including secure sharing with employees and external guests.
Administer M365 tenant-level configuration, Entra, Intune, and Defender settings.
Drive modernization of SharePoint management and user training.
Create and maintain a lightweight data dictionary for metrics across dashboards.
Develop and manage system improvements through planning, coordination, and training.
Create reporting capabilities across multiple databases and respond to ad hoc requests.
Promote standardization of business processes to ensure data integrity.
Produce process and policy documentation and help materials.
Back up and assist revenue department systems as needed.
Define metrics with Finance, Sales & Marketing, and IT leadership; assist with analytics tools.
