We are seeking an experienced IT Solutions Consultant to join our growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) team. The Solutions Consultant will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing tailored IT solutions that align with our clients' business objectives. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, business acumen, and customer-facing skills to ensure our services are effective, scalable, and profitable.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Consulting:

• Design and develop IT solutions for SMB clients across various verticals.
• Assess client environments, business needs, and technical requirements to design effective solutions.
• Create high-level and detailed documentation, including diagrams, bill of materials, and solution blueprints.
• Collaborate with Sale and Client Success (CS) team to engage with clients during the sales cycle.
• Participate in discovery meetings to capture business goals, technical requirements, and pain points.
• Develop proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and presentations to communicate proposed solutions.

Technology Leadership:

• Stay current on emerging technologies, market trends, and MSP best practices.
• Provide thought leadership on technology strategy, innovation, and service improvements.
• Work with the Sales team to recommend new service offerings and enhancements.

Implementation Oversight:

• Serve as a technical advisor during project handoff to service delivery, project management and onboarding teams.
• Ensure designed solutions are implemented correctly, aligned with architectural plans, and meet client objectives.
• Troubleshoot issues during implementation and assist with remediation planning.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven Experience: 5+ years as a Solutions Consultant, Systems Engineer, or equivalent role within an MSP or similar IT services environment.
• Business Acumen: Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, writing, and client-facing communication skills.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
• Collaboration: Strong teamwork and leadership abilities to work cross-functionally with Sales, Service Delivery, Projects, and CS teams.

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of networking, cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS), cybersecurity, VoIP, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and enterprise applications.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Consultant, Cisco CCNP, VMware VCP, or equivalent are preferred.
