Qualco Group is seeking an IT Solutions Architect to design, implement, and provide L3 operations for customer and internal IT infrastructure, with a focus on Azure and multi-cloud environments.

The role requires hands-on Azure experience, strong communication skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and compliant solutions across on-premises and cloud platforms.

Formación

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Azure cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Client-facing experience and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• University degree in Computer Science or related field and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

The IT Solutions Architect will be providing design, implementation and L3 operations and support services to Qualco and customers' infrastructures with critical response time requirements for their business technology systems. The role will work independently and as member of a team to fulfill service requests. The ideal profile combines a solid technical background, prioritization, responsiveness, and customer service, along with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the requirements analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and support of internal/customer IT infrastructure;
• Participate in pre-sales activities by collaborating with Sales, Business Development, and technical teams to understand customer requirements, design high-level technical solutions, prepare architecture proposals, define infrastructure sizing, estimate implementation effort and costs, and provide technical input for RFPs, RFIs, and commercial proposals;
• Design and Implement security and management solutions for infrastructure that serves internal, or customer services based on Cloud security solutions like CASB, PAM, Compliance checks, Continuous VAS;
• Design, Implement and Maintain backup, redundancy and Disaster Recovery strategies;
• Design and Install and configure virtualization and storage systems, Microsoft servers and applications, Microsoft Networking Services, backup and storage services in on-premises and multi-cloud infrastructure;
• Design, Implement performance/availability monitoring and ensure system availability and reliability;
• Analyze technical issues and provide 3rd level support;
• Liaise with vendors and other teams within Qualco Organization for problem resolution;
• Maintain expert level knowledge of various vertical areas of functionality and technology within IT engineering technologies;
• Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

• 5 years of hands-on experience on Azure Cloud Platform;
• Client oriented with client facing experience;
• University degree in Computer Science or a related field;
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Technical Competencies

• Very good knowledge and hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 solutions and services, including Azure Hub-and-Spoke Network Architectures, Azure Virtual WAN, Azure Firewall, Azure Networking, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune (MDM), Microsoft Teams, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Defender Security solutions;
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating containerized workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS);
• Very good knowledge and Hands-On experience on Virtualization including VMware and Hyper-v clusters, Storage Management, virtual networking including design and implementation;
• Very good Knowledge and hands-on experience on design and implementation of Microsoft server products and applications, Active Directory, Group Policy, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, Federation Services;
• Knowledge on Configuration and Monitoring software of infrastructure;
• Design and Implementation of Backup and Replication solutions such as VeeaM, storage integration;
• Knowledge on End-user encryption technologies such as Bitlocker, Endpoint Security;
• Knowledge and experience in AWS, GCP or Oracle Cloud would be considered a plus.

Certified or in track in one of the following:

• Microsoft on-premises and Azure related certifications on Identity, Security, Virtual Desktops, Access Management;
• VMware vSphere 7 or later;
• Endpoint Management;
• Database Administration.
