Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Charlotte, NC, USA is seeking a Lead Category Manager - IT Software to join our Global Supply Chain Sourcing team on a hybrid basis. You will negotiate IT contract renewals and drive software category initiatives from forecasting through contract execution.

The role requires 5+ years procurement experience, 3+ years IT software sourcing, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage stakeholders across IT, Finance, Legal and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Procurement experience with strategic sourcing initiatives
• 2-3 years IT software category experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field; advanced degree a plus

Responsibilities

• Negotiate IT contract renewals and manage licenses with IT stakeholders and partners
• Manage software category initiatives from usage forecasting through contract execution
• Execute strategic sourcing initiatives including vendor evaluations, negotiations and awards
• Support IT procurement escalations and collaborate with internal stakeholders and MSPs
• Handle IT software procurement activities through contract review and approvals
