Job summary

Charleston County EMS is seeking an IT Software Administrator to manage and support several software systems including UKG/Kronos, PowerDMS, Guardian Tracking, and ESO. The role requires collaboration with the County IT Department and other departments to align software use with business needs.

Responsibilities include maintaining access controls, analyzing workflows, and designing automated processes. Candidates should have a relevant degree and several years of software support experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Database Management/Administration, Information Systems Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years or more of experience in software support, database management/administration, computer programming, troubleshooting, and/or training.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support multiple software systems used across the department, liaising with County IT and other departments.
• Coordinate software use and support; assess departmental needs for software.
• Maintain user access levels according to business needs; implement best practices for software and databases.
• Analyze business processes and workflows; recommend/create automated systems and workflows as needed.
