Job summary

RTX Classified Digital Services (CDS) is seeking an IT Service Transition Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute deployments into production across the CDS environment. This role ensures deployments are performed in a controlled, repeatable manner with minimal impact to business operations by collaborating with CDS Process and Service Owners.

This role is Hybrid at Tewksbury MA or other US facilities and requires active Top Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years, or an Advanced Degree with 5 years experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TOP SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead CDS service deployment activities and coordinate with CDS project portfolio and PMO.
• Oversee deployment plans and tooling coordination.
• Coordinate cutovers and back-out plans.
• Ensure successful production deployment and post-deployment stability verification.
• Partner with CDS Process/Service Owners and the Service Desk to verify documentation, support models, monitoring, and escalation paths.
• Ensure operational readiness and coordination throughout the Service Transition lifecycle.

The following position is to join our RTX Classified Digital Services (CDS) team:

Role Overview:

The IT Service Transition Manager will plan, coordinate, and execute the deployment of technologychanges into production across the CDS enterprise environment. This role will ensuredeployments are performed in a controlled, repeatable manner with minimal impact to businessoperations by collaborating with CDS Process and Service Owners. The Deployment Manager willact as the single point of coordination during production cutovers, ensuring operational readiness,risk mitigation, and clear communication throughout the deployment lifecycle.

This role is Hybrid at either our Tewksbury MA, Richardson TX, or Tucson AZ facility. Active and transferable U.S. government issued TOP SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

What You Will Do:

• Lead all CDSservice deployment. activities, maintaining close alignment withCDSproject portfolio activities and the Program Management Office (PMO).
• Oversee deployment plans and tool.
• Coordinates cutovers and back-out plans.
• Ensure successful implementation in the production environment and verifiespost deployment stability.
• Partner with CDS Process and Service Owners, and the Service Desk to confirmdocumentation, support models, monitoring, and escalation paths are in place, andcommunicate deployment status, risks, and outcomes to technical and businessstakeholders.
• Ensure operational readiness and coordination throughout the ServiceTransition Lifecycle.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
