Job summary

Apogee Engineering is seeking an IT Service Manager to oversee end-to-end IT service delivery supporting NASIC Business Architecture activities. The role emphasizes design, transition, operation, and continual improvement of IT services, with a focus on meeting mission needs. On-site work at Wright-Patterson AFB Dayton, OH is expected.

Required are US citizenship, TS/SCI clearance, and ITIL certification. Journeyman requires 3+ years in IT service management with a relevant bachelor’s degree;

Overview

Apogee Engineering is looking for IT Service Managers. The IT Service Managers provide journeyman-to-senior level oversight of IT services that support NASIC Business Architecture activities. This position manages service delivery processes, ensures alignment with mission needs, and drives continuous improvement of IT service quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end IT service lifecycles, including design, transition, operation, and continual improvement.
• Implement and monitor service management processes (incident, problem, change, configuration, and service level management).
• Coordinate with technical project/program managers to align IT services with program objectives and user requirements.
• Analyze service performance metrics and implement corrective actions to meet availability, reliability, and quality targets.
• Develop and maintain service management documentation, including service catalogs and operational procedures.
• Provide leadership and guidance to support personnel delivering IT services.

Qualifications

MinimumExperience:

Citizenship:Must be a US citizenClearance:TS/SCICertifications:ITIL certification required.Education / Years of Experience:

• Journeyman: Minimum three (3) years of experience in IT service management or closely related functional area; Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Senior: Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT service management or closely related functional area; Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Proven experience managing IT services and implementing ITIL-based processes in support of DoD or similar environments.
