Job summary

Unisys Corporation in Hopkins, MN is seeking an IT Service Desk specialist to provide first-line support for software, hardware, and network issues. You will document calls, resolve incidents, and act as the primary contact for clients across multiple systems.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of related IT service delivery experience, and familiarity with MS Office, MS Exchange, MS Windows networks and data/voice networking concepts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or relevant certifications.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Equivalent to completion of a relevant certificate course and/or relevant IT experience in service delivery.
• 6 months IT Service Desk experience.
• 6 months experience providing Level 3 support for MS Office, MS Exchange and MS Windows networks.
• Working knowledge of data and voice network concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level telephone and media contact support.
• Strive for high first contact resolution.
• Document calls and incidents accurately.
• Manage workload to meet service levels.
• Assign incidents to correct support groups.
• Act as single point of contact for incidents and problems.
• Perform diagnostics to initiate problem management workflow.
• Provide clients with a reference number for incidents/requests.
• Support multiple clients with professional customer service.
• Develop multi-skilled capabilities as workload changes.
