Job summary

Pixels On Target LLC is seeking a hands-on IT Systems & Security Specialist to design, secure, and improve our internal IT environment in Sunrise, FL. You will oversee endpoints, identity, networking, and compliance evidence while coordinating with stakeholders across the business.

The role emphasizes implementing NIST/CMMC-aligned controls, maintaining security documentation, and driving secure-by-default practices in a fast-paced defense-adjacent setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hands-on IT infrastructure and security roles.
• Proven admin-level experience securing Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365/SharePoint
• Strong fundamentals in IAM (MFA, RBAC, least privilege), endpoint management, networking, and logging/monitoring
• Experience building security documentation and operating a compliance program (CMMC/NIST-style controls, SSP/POA&M concepts, audit prep)
• Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders and drive work to closure

Responsibilities

• Implement controls, policies, and evidence collection aligned to CMMC readiness and keep the program operational.
• Secure identity and access across Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365/SharePoint with MFA, SSO, conditional access, least privilege, and privileged access workflows.
• Harden and manage endpoints (Windows/macOS/Linux): MDM, patching, and configuration baselines; EDR/AV, disk encryption, and device compliance.
• Design and secure networking for an SME environment: firewalls, VLANs, VPN/zero-trust access, Wi-Fi, DNS/email security.
• Build strong operational hygiene: asset inventory, vulnerability management, logging/monitoring, incident response; backups and DR/testing.
• Create audit-ready documentation: security policies, diagrams, system inventories, evidence binders; manage POA&Ms and remediation to closure.
• Be the go-to security partner for the business: risk assessments for new tools and vendors; security awareness and secure-by-default enablement
