Job summary

Farmers National Banc Corp. in Beachwood, OH seeks an IT Security Manager to oversee secure operation of on-premises and cloud systems, servers, and IoT devices. You will lead security analysts, shape enterprise policy, architecture, and training to strengthen defenses.

You will review security solutions, supervise vulnerability assessments, and coordinate with IT and InfoSec peers to improve enterprise security; experience, certifications, and strong judgment are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or university degree in a computer-related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years' network/security equivalent experience (five years preferred).
• GIAC Security Essentials Certification
• GIAC Security Leadership Certification
• ISACA Certified Information Security Manager
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security
• (ISC)2 SCCP
• (ISC)2 CISSP
• (ISC)2 ISSAP
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet navigation/research, and Outlook
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
• Must have excellent judgment and decision making skills
• Must be able to work independently and without supervision
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment utilizing interpersonal/people skills and solid presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and maintaining the enterprise's security documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures).
• Assist in creating and maintaining the enterprise's Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan, where appropriate.
• Conduct research on security products, services, protocols and standards in support of procurement and development efforts; provide recommendations to senior management.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging security alerts and issues; keep senior management apprised of issues.
• Continually evaluate need for security reconfigurations and recommend changes as needed.
• Oversee deployment, integration and configuration of all new security solutions and enhancements.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of data on workstations, servers, and other systems; enforce security documents.
• Supervise investigations into problematic activity and communicate with senior management.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
• Engage with IT and InfoSec peers to foster enterprise-wide security understanding and cooperation.
• Complete mandatory training including BSA and AML procedures; comply with all regulations.
• Attend regularly and maintain professional conduct.
