Job summary

EA Risk is seeking a remote IT Security Lead to own internal IT services and manage an outsourced provider. You will set priorities, coordinate delivery, and ensure security services align with business needs.

Initially you will work with the CTO and CISO to establish the program and progressively take broader leadership across security operations. You will oversee identity, endpoint management, ERP/CRM security, and incident response, while leveraging AI tools to improve IT and security

Qualifications

• Experience owning enterprise IT services and managing external providers.
• Hands-on security experience: IAM, endpoint security, vulnerability remediation, incident response.
• Ability to translate policies into implemented controls and repeatable practices.
• Experience with productivity platforms and their identity and device management capabilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot, evaluate provider recommendations, and verify resolutions.
• Judgment to take on broader security leadership as the program matures.

Responsibilities

• Own relationship with outsourced IT provider: priorities, performance, escalations, follow-through.
• Oversee enterprise collaboration, identity, endpoint management, and security services.
• Coordinate support for ERP, CRM, messaging, password management, and other apps.
• Own onboarding, role changes, and offboarding including access and device mgmt.
• Work with CISO to establish security policies and improvement plans.
• Take increasing ownership of the security program, risk tracking, and leadership reporting.
• Oversee access controls, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and monitoring with providers.
• Coordinate incident response and recovery, including exercises and improvements.
• Maintain security documentation for customer reviews, audits, and compliance.
