Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Operational Management: Optimizes day-to-day operations and processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Organizational Development: Ability to implement strategies to improve organizational effectiveness, engagement, and manage change.
• Financial Oversight: Knowledge of financial operations and management.
• Team Leadership: Ability to create and maintain a cohesive and productive team environment, build positive working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Designs improved work systems by revising standards, policies, and procedures, and staffing levels.
• Directs internal teams in the execution of IT initiatives and staff development.
• Makes recommendations to IT leadership to improve the working environment.
• Participates in University operations and projects related to IT security and privacy of IT systems.
• Develops and maintains security and privacy policies for the University of Miami Health System.
• Manages user provisioning and maintenance for EHRs and related IT systems.
• Monitors security and privacy controls and compliance with regulations.
• Keeps track of evolving industry standards and regulations related to EHR security and privacy.
