The role supports State of California health platform operations with remote work and periodic onsite Sacramento-area meetings. The ideal candidate has deep experience in complex enterprise hardware, network, or cloud infrastructure, and can review designs, assess security posture, and guide architecture decisions across cloud and on‑premise systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in complex enterprise hardware, network, or cloud infrastructure environments.
• Ability to evaluate IT infrastructure design effectiveness and security posture.
• Experience providing technical oversight for projects utilizing service bus technology such as AWS EventBridge, Oracle ESB, or similar.
• Knowledge of system security plans aligned with standards like NIST, MARS-E, HIPAA, and MITA.
• Experience with cloud data platforms like AWS Aurora or Oracle hardware platforms.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, designs, tests for standards compliance.

Our client, the public health sector, is seeking a IT Security/Infrastructure Support Analyst to join their team. As a IT Security/Infrastructure Support Analyst, you will be part of the IT Department supporting State of California health platform operations. The ideal candidate will have analytical thinking, adaptability, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range

$68.00 to $74.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Review and evaluate project plans, designs, test results, and technical artifacts for compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Assess enterprise architecture, security architecture, and infrastructure components including cloud and on-premise systems.
• Provide analysis and recommendations on system architecture deliverables, including cost and technical considerations.
• Inspect hardware, software, and network components to ensure technical specifications are met and performance standards are achieved.
• Monitor and evaluate processes, procedures, and system performance to ensure operational excellence and compliance.
