Dauch seeks an IT Security College Co-Op to join its Security Operations Center. You will monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts, supporting incident response and risk management efforts. This role targets students pursuing IT or cybersecurity degrees.
You will work at least 25 hours per week year-round, gaining hands-on experience with SIEM, endpoint protection, and network monitoring, and participate in on-call rotations to protect our IT environment.
This co-op position focuses on managing alerts and handling security events within a Security Operations Center (SOC). The IT Security Engineering Co-op will monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents while ensuring the overall security posture of the organization. This role requires familiarity with security monitoring tools, incident response, and threat analysis to protect the organization’s IT environment. Responsibilities also include managing alerts, investigating security events, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring operational readiness through on-call rotations. The ideal candidate will possess foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including incident response processes and risk management frameworks. (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
