Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and manage security alerts and events within the SOC.
• Investigate, escalation, respond to security incidents to mitigate risks effectively.
• Perform daily security operations, including threat hunting and incident management.
• Use tools such as SIEM, endpoint protection, and network monitoring systems to detect and prevent threats.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and penetration tests.
• Remediate identified security deficiencies and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain security monitoring and alerting processes for critical systems.
• Investigate and analyze security incidents to determine root causes and impacts.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support the organization's security operations.
• All other duties as assigned.

The IT Security Engineering Co-op will monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents while ensuring the overall security posture of the organization.
