Job summary

The Illinois State Police seeks an Information Systems Analyst II to support IT security and compliance efforts under the ISP Information Security Officer. You will help coordinate responses to FBI ITS audits, gather technical data, and prepare clear documentation for stakeholders.

Responsibilities include reviewing CJIS data processing systems, performing related programming and database tasks, and assisting with help desk tickets for CJIS systems.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of four (4) years of college, with coursework in computer science or related fields.
• Requires three (3) years of professional IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Support statewide IT security and compliance initiatives under the ISP ISO.
• Coordinate responses to FBI ITS audits across ISP and local agencies; prepare documentation.
• Review IT system implementations processing CJIS data for compliance; assist in troubleshooting.
