Job summary

The State of California is seeking a TASS auditor to join the Training and Administrative Support Section within the Bureau of Criminal Information & Analysis. The role focuses on auditing agencies for CJIS SP adherence and handling sensitive criminal history information with discretion.

You will become a subject matter expert on CJIS SP, work with fellow auditors, and use customized software to identify deficiencies and improve audit processes while safeguarding data integrity and security.

Qualifications

• Excellent research and analytical skills with experience in providing reports and data analysis.
• Experience reviewing state and federal law to determine policies and procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and convincingly.

Responsibilities
