Job summary

Patrick Industries seeks an IT Security Analyst I to join our Security Operations Center. You will monitor security alerts across IT and OT/ICS, triage incidents, escalate where needed, and document actions in ticketing systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of IT cybersecurity experience.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls).
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, XDR, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and other tools across IT and OT/ICS environments.
• Triage and analyze alerts to identify potential security incidents.
• Escalate confirmed incidents to Level 2/3 analysts or OT staff as appropriate.
• Document findings and actions in ticketing systems.
• Assist in detection rule creation and tuning for ICS/SCADA protocols.
• Follow SOPs for incident handling and OT-specific procedures.
• Stay current with emerging threats affecting IT and OT environments.
