Patrick Industries is seeking an IT Security Analyst I to join our Security Operations Center in Elkhart, Indiana. You will monitor security alerts across IT and OT networks, triage incidents, and escalate as needed while documenting actions in ticketing systems.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent and 3+ years in IT cybersecurity, with hands-on use of SIEM, EDR, and other security tools. Strong communication is essential for cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in cybersecurity/IT or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT cybersecurity.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls).
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, XDR, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and other tools across IT and OT/ICS networks.
• Triage and analyze alerts; escalate incidents to Level 2/3 analysts or OT teams as needed.
• Document findings and actions in ticketing systems.
• Assist in tuning detection rules and use cases for OT/ICS protocols.
• Follow SOPs for incident handling and OT-specific response procedures to ensure safety and uptime.
• Stay current with emerging threats affecting IT and OT environments.
• Administer and monitor web and email security controls to protect against phishing and malware.
