IT Resource Manager II (Finance)



The IT Resource Manager II collaborates with Business Leaders, IT HR, and team members to align business goals, programs, and processes with talent management strategies. This role involves analyzing data to evaluate and plan for current and future resource needs, including projects with significant business impact involving cross-functional teams. The manager advocates for employees, guiding their career development within the organization. As an intermediate-level position, it requires understanding team dynamics, assessing strengths and weaknesses, supporting morale, and resolving issues or conflicts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience, including two years of supervisory experience. Alternatively, eight years of related experience or a combination of education and experience, with at least four years of related work experience including two years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Education/Experience:

  • Experience in IT resource management within Agile or matrixed environments
  • Proficiency with workforce tools (e.g., Oracle HCM)
  • Familiarity with SFIA or similar competency frameworks
  • Experience in workforce planning, career development, or upskilling initiatives
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum) and team dynamics

Special Skills:

Skills in resourcing, performance management, professional development, competency assessment, organizational design, workforce planning, and employee experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Talent Strategy and Workforce Planning: Develop and execute talent strategies aligned with organizational goals. Partner with stakeholders to identify workforce needs, conduct skills gap analyses, and establish workforce plans. Use insights to inform resourcing decisions and support succession planning.
  2. Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Collaborate with HR to attract top talent, manage onboarding processes, and improve new hire integration and experience.
  3. Talent Development and Performance: Define career paths, set performance goals, provide feedback, coaching, and manage employee development plans. Address performance issues and facilitate offboarding when necessary.
  4. Employee Experience and Engagement: Implement strategies to boost engagement, monitor morale, recognize achievements, and foster a positive organizational culture. Maintain transparent communication channels.
  5. Other duties as assigned.
