Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Operations Excellence Lead to drive cross‑functional initiatives across IT Infrastructure & Site Reliability, from strategy through build, run and governance. This role is individual contributor leadership, focusing on process and tooling transformation, service ownership, and reducing cost and complexity.

Based in Atlanta, GA with a hybrid model (roughly 3 days in office per week), you will partner with site leaders and capability groups to deliver measurable

Qualifications

• Experience in IT operations, infrastructure, site reliability, service management, process transformation, or continuous improvement.
• Experience working with manufacturing processes and OT environments.
• Ability using data to drive measurable operational outcomes.
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Ability facilitating discussions with leaders and diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional operations excellence initiatives to improve reliability and reduce complexity.
• Shape governance, roles, RACIs, and build-to-run handoffs.
• Partner with site leaders and IT groups to translate pain points into improvements.
• Map end-to-end value streams and identify bottlenecks to drive standard work.
• Improve support processes, tooling, and systems such as ServiceNow and observability.
• Establish KPIs and data-driven reporting to measure transformation impact.
• Facilitate leadership reviews and communities of practice for alignment.
