Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Quality and Compliance Intern to join our IT Quality and Compliance Team in Madison, Wisconsin, with a hybrid work schedule. The intern will support computer systems validation activities and assist with IT compliance initiatives across Drug Development Labs.

You will collaborate with IT project managers and business units, ensuring systems stay compliant with global regulations, while gaining exposure to Labcorp's global business and leadership through structured intern

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Science.
• Interest in IT compliance, life sciences and drug development.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow strict regulations and guidance.
• Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently with general supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Primarily accountable for computer systems validation (CSV) activities at the site they reside.
• Provide guidance for IT System Periodic Review initiatives for local Drug Development Labs units.
• Liaise with IT Project Managers and business units to execute IT Review strategy.
• Coordinate and guide computer system validation activities.
• Ensure IT systems remain compliant with global regulatory requirements.
