Job summary

First American Home Warranty seeks an IT Quality Analyst to ensure software solutions meet high standards and deliver exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate with developers, business units, and stakeholders to test, validate, and improve applications, focusing on automated and manual testing, agile practices, and clear documentation.

The role requires 2–5 years IT QA experience with automated testing tools; Leapworks/Jira/Confluence experience preferred.

Qualifications

2–5 years IT QA experience, including automated testing with third‑party tools.
Leapworks or other test automation tools preferred but not required.
Experience with agile/scrum methodologies.
Strong proficiency with PC Windows environments and mainframe CICS.
Knowledge of black box, white box, smoke and unit testing.

Responsibilities

Test software thoroughly to ensure flawless operation and standards compliance.
Develop and execute automated and manual test scripts for new/modified applications.
Review program documentation, diagrams, and flowcharts for functionality.
Participate in agile ceremonies where applicable.
Collaborate with programmers and business units to validate test plans.
Analyze workflows and suggest quality improvements for configurations.
Document testing procedures and results clearly.
Report progress on issues and suggest process enhancements.
