Job summary

Transcard in Chattanooga, TN offers a paid IT Quality Assurance Tester / Business Analyst Intern role designed to align your academic goals with real-world IT projects. You’ll begin with a one-on-one meeting with the COO or designated staff to set objectives and ensure academic requirements are met.

The internship includes front-end and back-end testing, Agile/Scrum participation, and collaboration with sales and marketing to review processes.

Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in a related field with strong academic performance.
Strong communication, analytical and documentation skills.
Familiarity with SDLC/Agile methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

Learn and participate in front end and backend application testing.
Support testing efforts for projects and software releases (integration, system, regression, UAT).
Document and evaluate test results, track defects, and collaborate with teams to troubleshoot issues.
Coordinate project delivery by participating in design reviews and walkthroughs.
Guide stakeholders through technical implementation stages including requirements gathering and user acceptance testing.
Track project schedules, identify risks, and support mitigation strategies.
