Job summary

Triple-S in Puerto Rico seeks a QA professional to design, develop, and execute manual test scripts for complex healthcare applications in a regulated environment. You will ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and high-quality user experiences across web, API, and backend systems.

The role requires 3+ years in QA with 2+ years in healthcare payor workflows, and strong SQL skills for data validation across multiple databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
• 3+ years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years in healthcare preferred.
• 2+ years of strong experience with healthcare payor systems and processes (claims, billing, eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain manual test scripts for web, API, data, and backend systems, focusing on healthcare payor workflows (member, eligibility, claims, billing, member management, etc.).
• Collaborate with analysts, subject matter experts, product owners and developers to translate requirements into test plans, scenarios and test cases.
• Manage defects using ServiceNow and Microfocus ALM.
• Conduct manual regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for new and existing functionality/features.
• Write complex SQL queries for data validation, especially in multi-database environments.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Document test scenarios, test cases, results, defects, and quality metrics; provide timely feedback to stakeholders.
• Evaluate and analyze problems from multiple perspectives; apply structured problem-solving methods.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and timely.
• Prepare for meetings and follow up to ensure commitments are fulfilled.

Job Summary

EDUCATION

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, similar technical field of study, or related practical experience. 3+ years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years in healthcare preferred. 2+ years of strong experience with healthcare payor systems and processes (claims, billing, eligibility, etc.)
