Job summary

Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) is seeking an IT Project Manager/Scrum Master to lead IT project initiatives from initiation to closure within the Project Portfolio Management Office (PPMO).

Responsibilities include planning, directing, coordinating, and reporting project progress; ensuring deliverables meet scope, time, and budget constraints; and collaborating with clients to achieve program goals with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Technical degree in Computer Science/Software Development/Project Management (or equivalent combination of education and minimum 5+ year’s Project Management experience).
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in managing projects/software development utilizing Agile SDLC.
• Minimum 5 years project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate project management activities to ensure goals are met within timeframe and scope.
• Lead project teams; monitor progress and prepare reports for portfolio management.
• Maintain strong client-facing communication and manage stakeholder expectations.
