SUMMARY

The Infrastructure Project Manager will drive execution of the infrastructure priority projects by managing and coordinating delivery of project initiatives on time, on budget and with a high level of quality that promotes innovation and growth, operational efficiency, and process excellence.

Project management activities include project initiation, project planning, project execution, control validation, closeout, and evaluation. In addition, this role focuses on tracking, monitoring, and reporting on project metrics (status, dependencies, risks/issues, budget, etc.) to management.

This role will require direct interaction with internal customers to understand business requirements and ensure quality delivery and also with project team members to ensure the necessary capability exists to meet customer demands. The role will interact under larger program management initiative and include both direct project management, process improvement and operational efficiency.

This is a remote role, we will consider individuals outside the US as well.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Focus on execution of program and project plans, and work within available project management processes to suit particular situations
  • Facilitate departmental processes through execution of Kanban and other agile methodologies
  • Work horizontally across the organization to identify and engage appropriate resources, align stakeholders, and execute management and reporting activities
  • Play a key role building and maintaining the team’s reputation, and playing a role of liaison between different business groups to ensure alignment across the organization
  • Meet regularly with the program management and other identified stakeholders to provide status and solicit project feedback
  • Develop and provide high-level and impactful presentations to the stakeholders
  • Connect and build trusted partnerships with both management and technical resources
  • Skillfully gather, organize, track, and summarize information about assigned initiatives
  • Identify and manage risks, drive issues to resolution and projects through to completion

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 4 years of technology experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of project management experience leading cross-functional projects and knowledge of project management methodologies such as agile, waterfall, PMI/PMBOK
  • Hands on knowledge with working on IT related projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in working independently and managing a wide variety of work streams concurrently and under deadline
  • Personal integrity and excellent professional judgment
  • Experience in handling confidential matters with appropriate sensitivity
  • Knowledge and experience with agile methodologies
  • Maintain a good working relationship with business partners and work effectively with management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform services
  • Communicate (verbally and in writing) with business partners and internally with all levels of the organization to accomplish objectives portraying knowledge and confidence
  • Experience working with offshore teams and global time zones

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • PMP or relevant agile framework certification preferred
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow
  • IT Infrastructure Domain Knowledge, Machine Provisioning, OS Upgrades, Automation, Process Development and Continuous Improvement focus
  • Service Delivery Concentration
