Job summary

Kforce Inc. in Columbia, SC is seeking a Project Manager to take ownership of technology projects across multiple clients in an MSP environment. You will drive initiatives, engage software engineering, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams, and push for timely delivery.

The role requires strong communication, proactive problem solving, and the ability to navigate changing priorities while maintaining urgency and accountability across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience managing technical IT projects across infrastructure and software environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and IT concepts.
• Able to collaborate with software engineering, networking, cloud, security, DevOps, DB, and app teams.
• Excellent planning, organization, prioritization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced MSP setting.
• Effective written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience identifying and managing risks, dependencies, timelines, and competing priorities.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive projects in an MSP environment across multiple clients.
• Coordinate with technical teams to remove obstacles and keep projects moving.
• Communicate clearly with leaders and teams, and manage expectations.
• Plan, track, and report progress, risks, and milestones.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure timely delivery.
