The University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking an IT Project Manager II (MSN) to lead Workday-related initiatives within the WEST team. You will coordinate cross-functional efforts, manage vendor deliverables, and drive strategic IT projects aligned with Finance and Research Administration needs.

Ideal candidates have a strong track record in ERP/Workday projects, experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies, and demonstrated ability to communicate with executives.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with Workday or other ERP systems.
• Proven track record leading multi-unit projects, preferably in higher education/public sector.
• Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
• Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, or MS Project.
• Ability to lead diverse cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to executives.
• Experience supporting executive/director-level leadership in project delivery.
• Experience aligning projects with organizational strategy and KPIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or related field.

• Schedule and facilitate vendor workflow integration and review deliverables for moderately complex projects.
• Draft and deliver project status communications and reports.
• Serve as main contact for clients in development and implementation of multi-unit projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align goals with organizational priorities.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive and safe team environment.
• Provide advanced technical and analytical guidance and apply PM methods to identify obstacles and drive completion.
