Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking an IT Project Manager II in Chattanooga, TN to deliver business outcomes from technology initiatives. You will plan, execute, and close projects on time, within budget, and within scope, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The role requires 3–5 years of project management experience, a IT-related degree or equivalent, and familiarity with project management tools. PMI certification is preferred; travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology required or equivalent work experience.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in strategic planning, implementation, and systems integrations.
• Experience within Logistics (preferably Third Party Logistics), Warehousing and/or Transportation preferred.
• PMI certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working on project and portfolio management Tools (Visio, MS Project, Clarity, Workfront, etc.).
• Experience with multiple project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with modern networking, software, and firmware technologies and architectures.
• Experience with enterprise financial management systems, human capital management systems, HighJump, Blue Yonder, and/or MercuryGate is a plus.
• Experience in establishing a product strategy and roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects on time, within budget and within scope.
• Manage project teams and mitigate issues and risks.
• Track project status and budget across lifecycles.
• Report status to stakeholders and ensure alignment with business priorities.
• Ensure adherence to company project methodology standards.
• Define success metrics with business sponsors and ensure ROI targets.
• Coordinate resources and priorities across projects and teams.
• Identify and resolve high-priority project risks as encountered.
