Job summary

RSI is recruiting a Project Manager Information Technology for a client in Chattanooga. The role leads project planning, direction, and execution within time, cost, and quality constraints.

It involves managing JPTs, communicating status, and coordinating resources, often in a hybrid setup around Chattanooga, TN. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in IT PM, a high school diploma, and possibly a Bachelor’s degree or PMP certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of project management experience, ideally in IT.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business management, or technical field.
• PMI certification (PMP) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initial planning stages to completion, including post-project analysis.
• Actively manage multi-discipline teams to achieve performance goals, schedule and budget.
• Develop full-scale project plans with scope, cost estimates, goals and deliverables.
• Prepare budget proposals and recommend budget changes as needed.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using formal processes and tools.
• Track progress, milestones and deliverables to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with TVA resources and other organizations to optimize resource use.
