Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Technology Services Division is seeking a journey-level IT Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and monitor IT projects following PM standards. You will gather requirements, document, and coordinate activities with business customers, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure delivery.

The role emphasizes risk and change management, RFx support, and collaboration across cross-functional teams, with flexible/hybrid remote work options.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated experience independently managing IT projects using established frameworks and templates.
• Working knowledge of project management principles, methodologies (PMBOK, Agile), and the IT project lifecycle.
• Knowledge and skills to independently coordinate projects, develop documentation, monitor scope, schedule, budget, risks, and issues, and apply standards.
• Applied experience resolving routine issues and maintaining compliance.

Aufgaben

• Manage assigned low and medium risk WSDOT technology projects under general supervision.
• Support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of project team activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the development and coordination of RFP/RFQ/RFI (RFx) activities in collaboration with the Administrative Contracts Office.
• Support risk identification, issue tracking, and change control processes.
• Support compliance with applicable RCWs, WaTech policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Support communication of project status to stakeholders, participate in meetings and coordinates site visits as required.
• Support the development and documentation of business requirements and assists engagement with WSDOT TSD Business Customers and technical groups.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices and tools.
