Job summary

Coho Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager to support IT initiatives at Fort Bragg, NC. The PM will plan, coordinate, execute, monitor, and close IT projects delivering new or enhanced capabilities for USSOCOM, Component Commands, TSOCs, and deployed forces.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, managing risks and budgets, coordinating with government stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with contractual requirements. A Top-Secret clearance and PMP certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret Clearance required.
• Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs.
• PMP certification required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and close IT projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor project performance, risks, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate project activities with Government stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ensure project objectives align with mission priorities and contractual requirements.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Track project progress and prepare status reports for leadership.
• Facilitate project meetings and coordinate action items.
• Support transition of completed projects into operational environments.
• Maintain project documentation and configuration records.
• Apply project management best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance project execution
