Job summary

Kavaliro is seeking a Project Manager to support a client in Orlando, Florida. Compensation is $52 to $60 per hour. The ideal candidate will lead IT project initiatives, assemble and manage cross-functional teams, and drive project success from planning through delivery.

Responsibilities include maintaining deliverables, tracking progress, coordinating with vendors, and communicating with stakeholders. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional project management experience.
• Experience managing IT projects using formal project management methodology, techniques, and tools; Proficiency with the use of Microsoft Project required.
• Experience documenting/designing business processes, performing business analysis, and requirements definition.
• Strong leadership, administrative and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to make presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in creating and maintaining project deliverables such as project charters, project plans, status reports, project timesheets, estimates, communication plans, reports, risk management plans, budget (work hours and cost), milestone/deliverable charts.
• Demonstrate experience in managing issues, scope, and quality while bringing projects to successful completion within the cost and time requirements.
• Demonstrate expertise in team building and leading teams.
• Provide periodic project updates and coordinate with multiple vendors to establish work efforts.
• Track progress to plan, cost, and schedule, and manage change control.
• Manage relationships with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients and vendors.
