Job summary

Kavaliro is seeking an IT Manager to support a client in Orlando, Florida. The role oversees IT systems and network infrastructure, with a salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 annually.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in IT, MCSE/VMware/VCP credentials, and at least five years of leadership and hands-on experience managing Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, and backup environments. Florida driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• MCSE certification, VMware and VCP credentials.
• Five or more years of leadership or mentoring experience in IT teams responsible for systems and network design, administration and support.
• Five or more years of experience designing, architecting, developing and maintaining medium to large scale network/server environments.
• Five or more years of system administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and backup (Symantec NetBackup).
• Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.
• Experience with CMDBs and IT service management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor IT staff across systems and network administration.
• Design, architect, and maintain medium to large scale network and server environments.
• Oversee hands-on administration, operation and support tasks.
• Supervise backups and disaster recovery processes.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and document technical information.
• Ensure reliable IT services for the organization.
