ASSYST, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to lead technology projects and ongoing production/operational activities. The role collaborates with IT and business teams to ensure systems stay stable, responsive, and aligned with business needs.

The position emphasizes hands-on project management, incident/problem handling, and strong stakeholder communication. Experience with Azure environments and cross-functional teams is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years IT project management or related field.
• Experience managing IT projects in a production environment on Azure.
• Strong understanding of production support, incident and change management.
• Experience coordinating with application, infrastructure, database, cybersecurity, and service desk teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• U.S. Citizenship and must be eligible for required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT projects from planning through implementation within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate day-to-day operational and production support activities across technical teams.
• Monitor production issues, incidents, risks, and dependencies and drive them to resolution.
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, development, and support teams to troubleshoot operational issues.
• Manage priorities, timelines, action items, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
• Facilitate status meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, status reports, action logs, and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, system performance, and support efficiency.
