Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA seeks an IT Project Manager to lead IT/Information Management projects at the Kinston, NC site, coordinating business stakeholders, manufacturing/engineering teams, IT staff, vendors and management to deliver scope, cost, quality and schedule.

You will translate business and operational requirements into structured IT project activities, maintain roadmaps, RAID logs, and governance routines, and report on KPIs and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as IT Project Manager or senior IT PMO in a complex organization.
• Strong understanding of IT project delivery and Information Management environments.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical, business, and operational stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate IT/Information Management projects supporting the Kinston site and its operations.
• Manage projects from initiation through delivery, including scope, milestones, resources, budget, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Serve as primary coordination point between business stakeholders, manufacturing/engineering teams, IT teams, vendors and management.
• Translate business requirements into structured IT project activities and priorities.
• Maintain project roadmaps, schedules, RAID logs, decision logs, and delivery plans.
• Identify risks and dependencies early and drive mitigation and escalation.
• Ensure clear communication on progress, priorities, blockers and decisions.
• Prepare status reports, KPIs, and delivery performance updates.
• Lead project governance routines including steering meetings and reviews.
• Coordinate cross-functional contributors across local and regional teams.
• Ensure compliance with client IT/IM governance, cybersecurity, and change management processes.
• Support deployment, transition and operational readiness activities when applicable.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices and tools.
