Rogers Behavioral Health is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide initiatives, including EHR upgrades, cybersecurity, and data integrations, across a behavioral health system.
You will serve as the primary liaison among IT, clinical teams, executives, and vendors, defining scope, timelines, budgets, and risk plans while ensuring HIPAA/HITECH compliance and stakeholder alignment.
The IT Project Manager will lead and oversee complex enterprise-wide projects within a behavioral health system, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and timely, cost-effective delivery.
Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of multiple IT projects, including EHR implementations/upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, data integrations, and cybersecurity initiatives. Serve as the primary liaison between IT, clinical teams, executive leadership, vendors, and other stakeholders. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders and ensure alignment with business goals. Develop detailed project plans, resource plans, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, HITECH, and behavioral health data standards. Track and report project status, issues, and performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and third-party services to ensure project deliverables meet requirements and SLAs. Facilitate user training, change management, and system adoption efforts across clinical and administrative departments. Mentor and support junior project managers and other IT team members. Participate in strategic planning and help assess future technology initiatives and needs. Continuously evaluate processes and suggest improvements to project management methodologies and IT service delivery.
Physical/Mental Demands: Position requires walking, sitting, and standing. Lifting is moderate; must be capable of lifting a minimum of forty (40) pounds. Reaching, handling, grasping and manual dexterity are necessary to operate various equipment. Verbal and hearing ability are required to interact with staff, consultants, patients, and family members of patients. Numerical ability is required to maintain records and operate a computer. Tact is required to interact effectively with employees and professional staff. Logical thinking and discretion required to make decisions in initiating and implementing policies, procedures, and standards. Must be able to read and communicate through written, verbal, and auditory skills and abilities. Must be physically/mentally able to perform job duties as verified by a physical exam by a licensed physician, per post-employment physical.
