To be successful in this role, you will be expected to remain updated on the latest solutions and technologies and advocate for the adoption of industry’s best practices.We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Project Manager to lead strategic technology initiatives supporting Personalized Medicine, Precision Health, Clinical Research, and Healthcare Innovation. This role will manage complex cross-functional projects involving clinical, research, laboratory, operational, and technology stakeholders to advance patient-centered care through data-driven and innovative solutions.The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with a passion for healthcare transformation, emerging technologies, genomics, translational research, digital health platforms, and innovation programs. This position requires exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills to successfully deliver projects that improve patient outcomes and support cutting-edge research initiatives.What you will do:Assists in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new equipment and/or software applications. Supports security, contracting and capital discussions (if required) for implementation. Responsible for managing all aspects of a project over the project lifecycle (initiate, plan, execute, control, close) in support of the organization’s strategic objectives and ongoing operations. Develops project tasks, milestones and deliverables using a standard set of tools to ensure timely completion of project.Facilitates discussions for workflows and operational processes to be redesigned (or standardized) and works with project teams to update departmental policies and procedures to reflect changes.Collaborates with leadership to determine and document project objectives, scope, timeline, approach, resource requirements, budget and stakeholders needed for successful execution.Defines team member roles and responsibilities and may perform management of external consultants and vendor resources. Organizes and conducts regular meetings with project teams and stakeholders.Monitors and communicates progress through routine status reports to all levels of the organization. Maintains proper project documentation ensuring it is complete, current, and stored appropriately.Identifies risks and performs mitigation planning, escalating as necessary. Follows change control procedures. Issue management includes tracking, assignment, and closeout of all project issues.Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently. Has sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving.Assists in the development of the communication strategy, training strategy and organizational change management plans. Works closely with leadership in preparation for turnover of implemented system to day-to-day support and develops go-live plan.Identifies metrics to be used to evaluate project success. Documents and agrees upon deliverables acceptance criteria. Prepares and presents post project review.Leads, directs, and motivates teams effectively and manages through influence, even when not the subject matter expert.
