Job description

IT Project Lead (m/f/d) for Vantage Towers

Aggregate function: Technology

Business Area: Vantage Towers Technology

Posting Country: Germany

Full Time / Part Time: Full Time

Contract Type: Permanent

Your contribution
  • You take full ownership of delivering small to medium-scale enterprise SaaS projects from initiation through go-live and hypercare, driving clear governance, RAID management, structured executive reporting, and strategic, financial, and operational alignment.
  • You lead and govern external vendors and system integrators in a complex, multi-vendor ecosystem, ensuring total accountability for deliverables, timelines, quality, and SLAs.
  • You manage the implementation, integration patterns, and data flows of modern SaaS solutions (e.g., ERP, CRM, Finance, HR platforms) while adhering to cloud‑first and API‑driven architectures.
  • You act as a key collaborator across a multi‑cultural, geographically distributed environment, facilitating seamless alignment between business, IT, finance, and vendors, while communicating effectively with senior leadership and ExCo stakeholders.
  • You integrate and drive the adoption of AI‑powered capabilities, knowledge platforms, digital assistants, and intelligent automation workflows while ensuring adherence to data intelligence and AI governance best practices.
  • You apply a strong commercial mindset to maintain strict budget, contract, and scope control, navigating ambiguity with a hands‑on execution focus.
What makes you stand out
  • You possess at least 5‑7 years of experience in project management, ideally driving IT projects or business systems implementations, with a proven track record across functions, departments, and SaaS environments.
  • You bring demonstrated success in managing third‑party vendors, system integrators, and working effectively within multi‑cultural and geographically distributed teams across the EU.
  • You have hands‑on experience managing SaaS implementations or migrations, combined with solid knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), SaaS architecture principles, and integration approaches (APIs, middleware, iPaaS).
  • You show a commitment to growing into a well‑rounded leader who combines technical depth and data‑driven risk management with a structured, clear approach to decision‑making.
  • You possess a strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, enterprise use cases, data architecture principles, and exposure to AI‑powered knowledge systems (e.g., copilots, knowledge graphs, semantic search) or intelligent workflows.
  • You have the ability to translate complex data and AI concepts into practical project outcomes while working efficiently alongside data scientists, architects, and AI vendors.
What we offer
  • A diverse, multicultural setup based on our values – accountability, respect, teamwork, and trust – and the unique opportunity to shape the organisation.
  • An attractive salary package.
  • Maximum flexibility: With Full‑Flex Office, you can freely decide how you’ll work upon agreement with your manager. You can even work from other EU countries for up to 20 days per year.
  • Free home office equipment: a laptop, mobile phone, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, and desk chair.
  • Full‑Flex credit: discount on private internet costs and mobile products.
  • A total of 30 days in holidays with the option of 10 additional days against salary waiver.
  • Support during parental leave to maintain work‑life balance.
  • Extensive learning opportunities and individual support for your professional and personal development.
  • A subsidised company pension scheme, bike and car leasing, fitness and health offers, access to corporate benefits, international career opportunities, exchange possibilities, insurance for company conditions, and more.
