Job summary

Brotherhood Mutual seeks an IT Project Delivery Analyst I to participate in the IT project delivery process and assist with project documentation from the Corporate Office in Fort Wayne, IN. The role supports project scoping, planning, and collaboration with business analysts and IT teams to ensure successful project completion.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in IT or related fields and 1+ years in IT or project delivery, with a desire for PM certifications and insurance

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Business, or equivalent required.
• One or more years working in Information Technology, project management or delivery, or related field is required.
• Certifications within project management or delivery are desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or equivalent degree is desired.
• Exposure to and understanding of insurance industry is desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of IT project delivery practices by observing ongoing projects in administration tools.
• Observe and become familiar with IT quality assurance practices including test plans and UAT procedures.
• Assist with project tasks including initial setup and organization of projects in administration tools.
• Participate in priority and status discussions with IT and business unit teams.
• Observe and provide input during IT Project Delivery team meetings on prioritizing, forecasting and resources.
• Begin developing high-level knowledge of applicable technologies to support collaboration.
• Complete other projects as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

Participate in the IT project delivery process, providing preliminary input and assistance on assigned projects. Gain a working understanding of IT project delivery practices and help provide appropriate documentation to support the successful completion of assigned projects.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop an understanding of IT project delivery practices by observing the administration of ongoing projects within corporate administration tools and platforms. Work with business analysts to gain knowledge around project scoping and appropriate documentation and project management practices
• Observe and become familiar with IT quality assurance practices including test plans, user acceptance procedures, and demo cadence.
• Assist with project tasks including the initial setup and organization of assigned projects within corporate administration tools.
• Participate in priority and status discussions with IT and business unit project teams.
• Observe and provide input during IT Project Delivery team meetings to gain an understanding of prioritizing, forecasting and determining resource needs of IT projects, as well as the communication of this information to business unit leads and senior corporate leadership.
• Begin developing a high-level working knowledge of applicable technologies to support effective team collaboration and decision-making.
• Complete other projects as assigned.
