Job summary

Brotherhood Mutual is seeking a data analytics professional to assist sales and management by developing, designing, and automating analyses for sales, operational, and financial needs. You will collect and evaluate data to provide observations and recommendations to leadership and departments.

The role involves creating dashboards, presenting analytical findings, and collaborating with multiple teams to drive sales growth and improve business performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, statistics or related field.
  • Two to four years of general business, insurance or financial industry-related experience including research, qualitative/quantitative business analysis, data mining.

Responsibilities

  • Understand objectives, business strategies, and KPIs to support sales growth and performance.
  • Identify data trends, discrepancies, and financial data to recommend solutions to management.
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to share data for analytics projects (R&D, Compliance, Underwriting, ERM, BI, Finance, Marketing).
  • Review workflows, document findings, and provide recommendations to sales management.
  • Serve as subject matter expert in data analysis and technology usage.
  • Conduct complex analysis using IT platforms to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop ad hoc and scheduled reporting for sales and related areas.
  • Create sales dashboards and improve existing dashboards, disseminating information daily.
  • Develop presentations communicating analytical findings.
  • Partner with teams and vendors to implement business development initiatives.
  • Assist in project deadlines and schedules; complete other projects as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

Assist sales personnel and sales management to carry out project tasks to develop, design, automate, compile, prepare, analyze, summarize and test information used for sales, operational, and/or financial needs. Responsible for collecting, evaluating and analyzing sales information in order to provide observations and recommendations to sales management/staff, agents, and other departments within Brotherhood Mutual.
