Job summary

City of Atlanta is seeking an IT Program Manager to organize and coordinate IT programs, oversee project managers and business analysts, and ensure timely delivery. You will provide strategic guidance, resolve blockers, and manage schedules, risks, and vendor relationships while aligning initiatives with the AIM culture.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, driving process improvements, and maintaining strong communication with IT and executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with IT/business focus.
• Minimum six years IT program management experience.
• Experience managing multi-project portfolios.
• Knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Experience with budget management > $5M.
• PMP and ITILF certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate program strategy and changes to IT and business leadership.
• Lead multiple PMs and analysts; assign projects and provide guidance.
• Manage daily PMO operations and budgets.
• Identify risks, track progress, and report status to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure projects align with EPMO standards and goals.
