Job summary

Baker Construction Enterprises Inc. is seeking an IT Senior Project Manager in Houston, TX. The role leads IT programs from planning through implementation, coordinating with diverse teams and directing complex projects to successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years’ experience in IT project management, strong governance and budgeting skills, and proficiency with MS Project and Viewpoint VISTA. Travel up to 15% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or business-related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of program or project management experience with complex projects.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365, Outlook, and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and implementation of programs or projects, including budgeting, staffing, sourcing, and releases.
• Provide updates and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
• Define scope, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables; manage schedules and meetings.
• Ensure documentation and training materials are created and maintained.
• Coordinate with vendors/consultants and maintain cross-department alignment.
