Job summary

Baker Construction is seeking a Project Manager I in Houston, TX. You will provide overall management direction on less complex projects, serve as primary client contact, and monitor construction and financial activities in collaboration with the Superintendent.

Travel up to 25% is required. You will be responsible for project finances, safety, and delivering results while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 4 years of construction experience or 8 years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Construction duties coordination
• Coordinates job transition and start-up process
• Manages cost and schedule
• Manages cash flow
• Oversees the work of direct reports and maintains client relationships
• Generates and submits technical records
• Supports construction of the project
• Manages project safety and risk management processes
• Ensures a safe work environment
• Participates in training/certifications
