Job summary

Sentara seeks an IT Program Manager to coordinate Revenue Cycle system initiatives within the One Sentara Transformation Wave. You will centralize intake, validate BRD/TDD, and align IT Milestone Owners to improve planning accuracy and cross-functional execution.

The role requires strong governance, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences. Experience with Epic modules is preferred; hybrid work options may be available in Virginia Beach, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT environments preferred.
• Experience with Epic applications (Prelude, Cadence, HIM, Professional Billing, Hospital Billing) is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intake and readiness for IT-driven initiatives across Revenue Cycle systems.
• Validate requirements and assign IT Milestone Owners to ensure aligned execution.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among IT, operations, and business leaders.
• Track milestones, manage risks and interdependencies, and resolve issues.
• Act as liaison among application, integration, analytics, and infrastructure teams.
