Job summary

Southeastern Michigan Health Association (SEMHA) seeks an IT Administrator to support Wayne County’s Juvenile & Youth Services in Detroit, MI. You will serve as the primary IT liaison, aligning technology with business needs, supporting applications, and coordinating with County, State, and Federal agencies, focusing on JAIS.

You will lead IT-related procurement for JAIS replacement, including RFP/RFI/RFQ development, and manage transitions to the new system, ensuring continuity and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or related field is required (master's degree preferred).
• 10 years of experience in developing project/program management, with broad project scope and staff coordination.
• Minimum of five years of direct JAIS experience including system navigation and reporting functions.
• Experience with JAIS transitions, data migration, procurement processes and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, development, and implementation of JAIS and related IT services.
• Lead IT personnel supporting JAIS applications and coordinate with users for system changes.
• Ensure compliance with state, county, and federal rules and Wayne County IT standards.
• Develop IT solutions to improve information sharing and workflow across agencies.
• Lead procurement support for JAIS replacement including RFP/RFI/RFQ development.
• Plan and execute transition from JAIS to new system while ensuring continuity and data integrity.
• Maintain JAIS continuity during parallel operations until retirement.
