Job summary

Naval Education and Training Command seeks an IT professional to implement and sustain information technology capabilities across the curriculum, student services, and training delivery domains. You will oversee IT programs to ensure policy and performance compliance and coordinate NMCI, TRANET, and ECR support to maintain operational capability.

You will analyze IT acquisitions, hardware/software configurations, and IT support contracts; prepare reports for the N6 Director and senior leadership

Qualifications

• Developing comprehensive information technology solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Managing enterprise network services and lifecycle requirements for technology-based learning environments.
• Administering enterprise knowledge management systems and enforcing information security policies.
• Evaluating information technology acquisitions and emerging technologies to recommend cost-effective products and services.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and sustaining IT capabilities across the domain to enable information flow, sharing, and management supporting curriculum development, student services, and training delivery.
• Provide operational oversight of IT programs and projects to ensure compliance with policies, timelines, and performance objectives.
• Coordinate NMCI, TRANET, and Electronic Classroom support activities, troubleshoot service issues, and work with providers to maintain operational capability.
• Support research, development, design, implementation, and maintenance of command websites, portals, and digital services.
• Provide analysis and recommendations related to IT acquisitions, hardware/software configurations, NMCI tasking, shared services, and IT support contracts.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and decision papers for the N6 Director and senior leadership on IT posture and program status.
• Provide supervision and technical direction of assigned personnel and provide functional guidance to DoD and contractor IT personnel.
