Job summary

American International Group, Inc. (AIG) is seeking a Sourcing Specialist for IT Professional Services in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on executing category strategies, reviewing market analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize cost, quality, and service levels.

You will negotiate and manage supplier contracts, drive process improvements, and report on KPIs to ensure accountability. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in strategic sourcing are required; MBA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute on Professional Services comprehensive category strategies to optimize cost, quality, and service levels.
• Review market analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within assigned categories.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with overall business objectives.
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing processes and achieve cost savings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on KPIs to track progress and drive accountability.
