Job summary
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory's Shipboard Electrical Systems (SES) Department seeks an IT Professional to join the Information Technology team. This role supports two critical networks, applying your IT experience while learning new technologies to grow your skillset.
Responsibilities include configuring and managing network infrastructure, performing hardware upgrades, providing advanced technical support, following NR cybersecurity policies and authoring CSCRs as needed, and contributing to IT
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Configure and manage network infrastructure
- Perform hardware upgrades following an obsolescence management plan
- Provide advanced level technical support
- Follow NR cybersecurity polices and author CSCRs as necessary
- Working on IT projects that will benefit the NR Electrical Community
